mordillo comes from an impulse, a snatch, a search and conviction to bite hard. Chewing what comes across, we are ready to process information, retrieve, take the time to dissect, deal with complexity. We don’t take NO! for an answer. From project to project, mordillo can change its face and tempo, but not its essence. In “scores for REMS” the visual artists Martina Moro and Gabriela Gordillo explore an entanglement of electronic signals and receivers, using light and sound in a performative setting. By maniulating analogue graphics in real time, a visual code emerges, guiding interaction while playing and reading of the work.

Sturmherta is wrestling the Kraken - a chaotic, cross-feedback-modulation system. Multiple oscillators merge into a complex synth voice that constantly reorganizes itself. Even the smallest adjustments can provoke drastic transformations, as every element is tightly interconnected. Instead of aiming for predictability, the project explores instability as a creative force—shifting between dense noise textures, fragile microtonal clusters, and emergent rhythmic fragments. Vizualized by eight lightsources powered by the amplified audio-signal.
