Join us for a relaxed evening where musicians and writers create side by side. The idea is simple: some of us will write, some of us will make sounds. Writers can work on something old, start something new, or even write to the music. Musicians are free to jam together or experiment with sounds.

There are no strict rules, but writers should be comfortable working with music in the background, and musicians should keep things at a level that allows writing to happen. We'll work for an hour, then take a break to share (if we want to), chat, and have some tea and cookies.

If you’re planning to write you bring a notebook, laptop or whatever you use to write; if you’ll be playing music you bring an instrument, your voice, or whatever you use to make sounds.

Note: This is not an open mic—bringing a finished song or text to perform isn’t the aim, but if you feel like sharing what you're working on we would be happy to hear.
