Extratonal Infrastructure is back for a second batch of irregular musical performances in the heart of the south of Rotterdam. Join us on the 4th of September for a dizzying array of notes, pauses and passes as we once again welcome the latest extratonal tendencies to varia.

Nina Ryser was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and has been based in Philadelphia, PA since 2015. She has played in many bands over the years, including Palberta, @, Shimmer, Data, Fire Roast, Kristine Leschper and Lily Konigsberg, among several others. Nina's solo experimental synth-pop project has taken on many forms over the years, but at its core are lush synth compositions, drum machine, various electronics, and pop-leaning vocal melodies.

taupe is a three-piece live band, veering from taut metronomic precision into intentionally turbulent, unchartered territory. A DIY ethos feeds their wonky compositions, colliding sour scatter-skronk with sludgy, doom-inspired riffs that has won them support from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Freak Zone and BBC Radio 3’s Late Junction and Freeness. Taupe are a non-jazz band that prizes surprise over any specific sound.

Jason Kolàr, also known as Cristian Subirà, is a pivotal artist in Barcelona’s contemporary underground scene. His musical creations are acclaimed for their immersive and emotional qualities, earning recognition from labels such as Stroom, Students of Decay, Dauw, and Aguirre Records. Subirà's sonic explorations move through uncharted realms of sound in pursuit of a vibrant listening experience.

Rio Vaupes/Uapes bring you homemade sound experiments, carried out by Juan Felipe Gallo and Kauê Werner. Their experimentation sessions with synthesizers, guitars, bass, drum machines and samplers resulted in the soundtrack of an adventurous story of two friends who decided to explore the Amazon region around the border between Colombia and Brazil.
